This page explains the rules, expectations, and privacy practices that apply when you use Verible's marketplace trust and verification services.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, account role, support messages, seller profile URLs, onboarding details, and any verification information you submit through Verible.
We may also collect technical and usage information such as device details, browser information, interaction events, IP address, approximate location derived from technical signals, and service logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the platform.
2. Marketplace and trust data
When you use Verible to review or verify marketplace profiles, we may process public or shared seller information, profile metadata, listing activity, trust indicators, risk signals, and related scoring outputs.
This information helps us generate trust insights, surface alerts, and support seller verification workflows.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain the service, authenticate users, support onboarding, process verification requests, respond to support inquiries, improve trust models, monitor safety issues, and communicate service updates.
We may also use information to prevent fraud, investigate abuse, enforce our terms, comply with legal obligations, and protect users, Verible, and third parties.
4. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, support, or operate the service. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
Where features depend on third-party platforms or integrations, the information visible through those connections may also be subject to the policies of those third parties.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, improve performance, understand usage, and support product functionality.
Your browser or device settings may let you limit some of these technologies, although parts of the service may not function properly if they are disabled.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, investigate misuse, meet legal requirements, and support safety and security obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should also protect your devices, passwords, and account access.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to specific processing activities.
You can also contact us to ask questions about your information or to request account assistance. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
9. Children's privacy
Verible is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
10. Updates and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational improvements. When we do, we will post the revised policy here and update the date above.
